HEAD OF COMPLIANCE

Labran Musa is the Head of Compliance at Foremost Capital Ltd, where he oversees the adherence to regulatory policies and procedures, while identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks.

With over 18 years of promoting compliance cultures in the capital market space, Labran provides expert guidance and support on compliance and risk-related issues and key strategic decisions.

Prior to joining Foremost Capital Limited, Labran worked with Lead Capital Plc as the Group Head, Risk Management & Compliance. He was also served in Senior Management capacity in Trove Trading services Ltd, as Managing Director, Alternative Capital Partners Ltd (Acap) as Group Head Risk Management and Compliance, Newdevco Investments and Securities Co. Ltd as Head of Compliance.

Labran Musa is an associate member of the chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS), the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria and a pioneer member of the Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Capital Market Operators in Nigeria (CCCOCIN). He is a sponsored Individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria and a member of the Ethics, Rules and Regulations Committee of Fund Managers’ Association of Nigeria.

He holds an MBA Finance degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho. He also holds a post graduate diploma (PGD) in Management Science from the same University as well as Higher National Diploma in Statistics from Federal Polytechnic, Idah.
