Emmanuel Akehomen is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Oﬃcer of Foremost Capital Limited.

He is an astute, well-rounded Investment management professional and a seasoned business leader, with several years of expertise in investment management, wealth
management, Portfolio performance analytics and Banking.

His proficiency extends across diverse sectors, with extensive experience in equities, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies and investment advisory solutions across the sub-Saharan African market.

As the CEO of Foremost Capital Limited, he oversees the growing assets and portfolios of Institutional Investors, (Ultra) High-net worth and Mass Aﬄuent Investors whilst also spearheading the company’s strategic vision and operational endeavors. He demonstrates unparallel commitment to proactively identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities that drives wealth creation and delivers exceptional value to clients. This has continued to solidify the firm’s position as a market leader at the forefront of the industry.

Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of Portfolio Management at United Capital Asset Management Limited (“UCAML”), the Investment management business of United Capital Plc. Where he managed over 1trillion (c. $650million) in total assets for both Institutional and Individual investors across Equities, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset portfolios and solutions.

He also previously worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Stanbic IBTC Asset Management (A member of the Standard Bank Group), where he was responsible for managing and implementing investment strategies of various multi asset portfolios with a combined asset value of over N230 Billion, inclusive of the Largest Equity, Bond and Eurobond Mutual Funds in Nigeria.

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria as well as being a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is also a Fellow of both The Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and The National Institute of Credit Administration (FICA).
