Leonard Onoja is the Head of Business Development at Foremost Capital Ltd, where he leads growth strategy, institutional partnerships, and client acquisition eﬀorts within the asset management space. With over 16 years of distinguished experience across the Nigerian banking industry, Leonard has held various leadership roles spanning retail banking, branch operations, business development, and customer experience with Access Bank and the erstwhile Diamond Bank Plc

Throughout his career, he has consistently driven revenue growth, built high-performing sales teams, and deepened customer relationships in both mass-market and high-net-worth segments. His professional journey includes significant tenures at top-tier Nigerian financial institutions, where he led branch teams to surpass performance targets, executed
go-to-market initiatives, and championed digital adoption for customer engagement.

Leonard holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Babcock University. He is a Chartered International Banker (ACIB) and a Certified International Retail Banker (CIRB), credentials that speak to his global outlook and deep understanding of financial services.

Now in asset management, he applies his broad expertise in financial services and customer strategy to create bespoke investment solutions and strategic partnerships.
